About The Position

Onsite at Bloomington RAHC. Part-time Monday and Friday from 6:30a-5p, no weekends or holidays. Summary: This position is responsible for the delivery of customer-facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for delighting, registering, and resolving insurance alerts for our MultiD Practice using our 10 Elements in every interaction, while also managing all scheduling needs, including scheduling, rescheduling, and coordinating outbound referrals.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Delighting our patients as they arrive to our practice.
• Obtaining and verifying information needed to complete an accurate registration.
• Obtain copayments at the time of the appointment when patients request. Along with entering payment within our financial systems.
• Working our ‘Red Alerts’ within our “Work Queue” to prevent insurance denials.
• Constant communication with clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Working the Multi-Patient Task List
• Coordinating the scheduling of outbound referrals, procedures, and testing at provider’s request.
• Check out patients and prepare patients for next area of service at provider’s request.
• Working ‘Reminders’, scheduling patients for their follow up appointments.
