About The Position

The Chauffeur provides exemplary guest transportation services with the utmost professionalism, safety, and courtesy. This position involves driving guests and patrons to various destinations, managing their vehicle with care, and ensuring a seamless and luxurious transportation experience.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid Nevada driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Additional certifications or endorsements for passenger transport may be required
  • Proven experience as a chauffeur within a luxury hotel, high-end resort, or upscale establishment
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations
  • Clear and effective communication with guests, colleagues, and supervisors
  • A strong sense of direction and familiarity with local routes and destinations
  • Maintain a polished appearance and dress in accordance with company guidelines
  • Ability to handle challenges calmly and make quick decisions
  • Impeccable customer service and communication skills, with a polished and professional demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guests' needs during transportation
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
  • Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Written communication skills in English may also be required.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Member is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls. The Member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.
  • The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and comfortably transport guests and patrons to their desired destinations, following designated routes and traffic regulations
  • Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and proper functioning of the vehicle at all times
  • Provide assistance to guests, including opening doors, handling luggage, and offering information about the property and local attractions
  • Plan the most efficient and timely routes to reach destinations, considering traffic and potential roadblocks
  • Prioritize guest safety during transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and maintaining a defensive driving approach
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and conduct, reflecting the property's commitment to luxury and hospitality
  • Engage with guests in a courteous and respectful manner, attending to their needs and preferences during the transportation experience
  • Handle guest concerns or issues during transportation with empathy and efficiency, finding timely resolutions or escalating matters to relevant management
  • Coordinate with the Casino Services and Marketing teams, butlers, front desk, concierge, and bell services teams to ensure seamless guest transportation services
  • Maintain records related to vehicle usage, transportation requests, and other relevant documentation
  • Must maintain a clean DMV record, and provide a current Nevada Motor Vehicle Report to the department leader and Risk Management every 6 months
  • Adhere to traffic laws, follow safe driving practices, and prioritize the well-being of passengers and pedestrians
  • Respect the privacy of passengers and maintain confidentiality
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
