About The Position

Orchard Heights Senior Living is seeking a dependable, outgoing, and service-driven Full-Time Chauffeur to join our team! This is more than a driving role—this position plays a vital part in enhancing the daily lives of our residents by ensuring safe transportation and supporting meaningful engagement opportunities. If you enjoy building relationships, providing exceptional service, and making a difference in the lives of seniors, we would love to meet you! As a Chauffeur, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, community outings, and recreational activities. In addition, you will partner closely with our Recreation team to support in-house recreation programs and special events that promote an active, vibrant lifestyle for our residents.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License (required and verified through MVR report)
  • Clean driving record
  • A friendly, patient, and professional individual that represents our values
  • An individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, time management and critical thinking skills.
  • A professional who can work independently and as part of a team, with a sense of responsibility for each resident's safety, comfort and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with seniors or in hospitality/customer service (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from medical appointments and community-based events and programs.
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning vehicle.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure well-coordinate facilitation of transportation services.
  • Support the Recreation Department with internal activities, outings, and special events; support the Business Office with periodic community-based errands.
  • Help create a warm, safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for residents.
