About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking a skilled Chassis & Container Repair Technician Instructor to join our team in Charleston, SC. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional mentorship, instruction, and management skills, with extensive experience in welding, refrigeration unit service and repair, and container and chassis repair and maintenance. As an instructor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to students and team members, ensuring they are trained to the highest level of proficiency. You will utilize approved course materials and teaching methods to facilitate student-centered learning and deliver educational objectives effectively. In this role, you will communicate and enforce school policies, advise students on attendance, grades, and discipline, and maintain containers and chassis to safety standards. You will also develop learning aids and assessments, enrich teaching with personal experience, and collaborate with various departments to support educational goals. Your ability to motivate students with professionalism and sensitivity will be crucial in adjusting to their diverse learning styles. Keeping accurate records of attendance and grades, addressing management concerns, and offering academic support and tutoring will also be part of your responsibilities. This position requires up to 50% travel, primarily Monday through Friday, with Charleston, SC as the home location.
