About this role This is a great opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in our chargeback operations. As a part of the broader Operations team, you will learn how the business works and have a direct impact on the customer experience. This internship is a good fit for a student with foundational business knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for working with people!

Requirements

  • You are a post-secondary student, studying a business-related major
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Workspaces
  • You have a passion for people, processes, and systems
  • You have a strong work ethic with a desire to contribute to a fast-growing startup
  • You are a critical thinker and problem-solver
  • You can learn quickly, paired with the desire to work hard

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 work terms of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review customer accounts to compile compelling evidence for bank disputes
  • Identify and/or contribute to process improvements
  • Opportunity to participate in special projects (like building tools to help us fight more chargebacks efficiently, working with other departments like the data team and the engineering team on business-related projects)
  • Analyze chargeback data trends to eliminate chargeback risk factors and drive product improvements

  • Friday UberEats Allowance: $25/week
  • Learning & Development Allowance: $300/ per term
  • Fitness/Wellness Allowance: $120/per term
  • Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada, provided they maintain a minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone and are available to work a 40-hour work week.
