About The Position
The part-time Charge Nurse leads the day-today patient flow and volunteer care at the Westside Medical Clinic. This person will help lead clinical operations, oversee the daily ministry impact of patient interactions, and manage a variety of the clinic’s administrative needs. Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of full-time professional nursing experience, preferably in an Urgent Care or Emergency Department or similar, preferably 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proficient with EHRs, Microsoft Teams and quick learner of other databases and systems
- Aligned with and passionate about the mission, vision, and values of WMH

Responsibilities
- Oversee clinic floor and volunteers executing in front desk, RN/tech, and pastoral roles
- Provide spiritual leadership for patient interactions, coach and train volunteers in patient encounters
- Provide spiritual leadership for volunteer interactions, correcting or encouraging as needed
- Oversee triage, registration, intake, medication administration, and pastoral care conversations
- Assist multi-tech in follow up and support activities for clinic floor
- After training & certification, perform XRAYs at direction of Providers
- Assist Director and Lead RN with role-specific trainings, pastoral trainings, etc.
- Assist Lead Provider with patient facing resources and process improvements
- Oversee on-site EMR management and clinical follow up
