Belknap Street, Stephenville, TX 76104 Work environment\: The Pre-Op/PACU/Post-Op department Responsible for the inpatient intakes, admission for surgical procedures, IV’s, antibiotics, lab draws, obtaining consent forms, assist with infusions, transfusions, and Radiology procedures Work hours\: 36 hours Fulltime Day Shift\: Self-scheduling Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville is a full-service, 98-bed hospital serving Erath and surrounding counties since 1926. The hospital offers surgical services, women’s and infants’ services, advanced diagnostic imaging, sleep lab and a wound care program. Texas Health Stephenville has received accreditation as a Level IV trauma center, Cycle III Chest Pain Center by Society of Chest Pain Centers and Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Requirements
- Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. Req
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire Req
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Req
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. Pref
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref
