Feel free to email your questions to [email protected] . #CB # LI-CR1 Charge Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro Tele Dept Bring your passion to Texas Health where we are Better + Together Work location\: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours\: PRN Nights 7\:00 pm – 7\:00 am – Rotating Weekends and Holidays Department highlights: · Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team · Provides Leadership and clinical expertise to support the Neuro Tele unit (30 bed unit). Neuro Tele Department provides care to a wide variety of Neuro Tele patients with diagnosis such as Stroke, Seizures, Parkinson, MS, Medical overflow and Telemetry. This unit has had many DFW Great 100 Nurses and is known for their teamwork.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required
  • BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
  • ACLS within 90 days of hire
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
  • 1-year experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting required

Nice To Haves

  • 2-years experience as a clinical nurse in an Acute care setting and Neuro Tele preferred
