About The Position

We are Hiring at UofL Hospital. Location: 530 S. Jackson St, Louisville, KY, 40202. Shift Options: Full Time, 7p-7a. Requirements

• Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Associate's degree from accredited college or University.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or University.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Clinical Manager and/or Nursing Director with the management of the unit.
• Participate in employee evaluation, staffing and scheduling, patient and preceptor assignments.
• Oversee resource utilization and initiate quality improvement activities.
• Act as a resource and provide information/education to unit staff.
• Involved in service recovery and promote customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Serve as a role model and proponent of the professional nurse.
• Participate in nursing department initiatives such as the acquisition of Magnet Certification and organizational committee meetings.
