Worth, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104 · Magnet-designated regional referral center has served the residents of Tarrant County and surroundings communities since 1930 . · Work hours: Full Time 40 hours per week, (4) 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday, with call-requirements, occasional weekends for call coverage. Department highlights: · Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team · Busy with 19-Bays and 5 Interventional Radiology suites Here’s What You Need · Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program OR Nursing Diploma · BSN preferred · CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required) · One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required. · 2-years’ experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting preferred · Two (2) years of ED, ICU RN experience strongly preferred · Experience with Interventional Radiology RN experience preferred · BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required · ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 Days Required · NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 6 Months Required · Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process · Assesses the patient · Plans the care of the patient · Intervenes as appropriate · Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions · Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. · Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information · Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
