Emergency Flow Coordinator/Charge RN, Full Time Nights, Emergency Dept Sign on Bonus up to $10K Available Piedmont Eastside SOUTH Campus- Emergency Dept 11-bed Emergency Department (freestanding), coordinates/admits to Main Campus Hospital, approximately 15,000 patient visits per year Patient Population: adult, pediatric Resources: XR, CT, Lab, Pharmacy in-house Department Staff: RNs, Paramedics Responsibilities JOB PURPOSE:The Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator position is responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner. This position will coordinate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. The Patient Flow Coordinator appropriately delegates the workload and is a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism in the ED.
