About The Position
CHARGE Registered Nurse RN PRN Day Shift SURGERY We’re looking for qualified Registered Charge Nurse like you to join our department PRN Days Position Highlights Work location\: Texas Health Southwest, 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132 Work environment\: Surgery Work hours\: PRN, on an as needed basis- Day Shift Surgery Department highlights: Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 75 surgeries/day Level I Trauma Candidate performing high-acuity and intense surgical procedures capable of providing excellent clinical experience to the new hire. Robotics, Complex spine and ortho trauma, and intricate plastic surgery cases are the highlight of surgical offerings at THFW
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref
- 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting. Req
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref
- 2 Years Experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting. Pref
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.
