Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to lead clinical staff and support high‑quality, patient-centered care. This role provides daily oversight of nursing operations, ensures adherence to clinical standards, and contributes to excellence in care coordination—especially for vulnerable and underserved populations. What You Will Do Lead and organize clinical teams including RNs, LPNs, and CMAs. Support clinical leaders in driving quality outcomes, workflow efficiency, and process improvement. Provide direct patient care when staffing needs arise. Oversee medication, equipment, and supply inventory. Mentor staff, deliver performance feedback, and facilitate training and educational seminars. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols such as triage workflow, medication refill processes, and in‑basket management. Coordinate care through face‑to‑face, phone, and virtual patient interactions. Triage acute patient needs and implement individualized care plans. Support program oversight including Vaccines for Children (VFC/AVP), chronic disease management, community partnerships, and serving as a preceptor for nursing students. Represent nursing staff in communication with leadership regarding unit needs and priorities.
