Our unit cares for general med/surg with pulmonary, infections, renal, wounds, as well as patients with cardiac drips, chest tubes, and TR bands. Here’s What You Need · Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred · Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required · BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required · ACLS within 90 days of hire · CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire · 1-year experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting required · 2-years experience as a clinical nurse in an Acute care setting and Med surg Tele preferred.
