Requirements

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS 30 days upon of hire and maintain current.
  • PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily unit operations and step in as acting leader when the Director or Manager is away.
  • Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead orientation and training for new staff, fostering a positive and skilled team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration.
  • Monitor patient care and guide staff in real-time adjustments to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care when needed, within your scope of practice.
