About The Position

Must be able to perform all clerical duties associated with cardiac catheterization laboratory. These duties include maintenance of cardiac cath/vascular/Interventional radiology schedule, answer/screen department phone calls, retrieval of patient demographics and patient charges, completion of monthly work report, filling of procedural forms. Will be responsible for procedural charge entry. Must be fully trained in cath/vascular/IR lab and will be required to take full time call team requirements. This position practices the Service Excellence philosophy of the Bradley Medical Center. Promotes positive relations with co-workers, nursing staff, manager, physicians, physician offices, outside agencies and the public. Education: Registered Nurse, Radiology Tech or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist education required. Experience in computer applications used in the medical department is preferred. Licensure: Registered Nurse, RCIS or Radiology Tech Experience: A minimum of two years of health care experience, familiar with hospital policies and procedures, and health care work environment. Experience with billing and coding surgical procedures preferred not required. Work experience with office equipment, PC workstation and applications. (Preferably Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Desktop Publishing) Would accept an equivalent combination of education and experience providing the candidate possesses the knowledge and abilities required by the position. Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab, endovascular lab and/or Interventional Radiology. Skills: A self-motivated, detail, deadline, and service-oriented individual that can accurately set priorities, possesses precise written and verbal communication. Demonstrates the ability to use computer applications to accomplish assigned task, possess customer relation skills. Medical terminology required.

Requirements

Registered Nurse, Radiology Tech or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist education required
Registered Nurse, RCIS or Radiology Tech licensure
A minimum of two years of health care experience, familiar with hospital policies and procedures, and health care work environment
Work experience with office equipment, PC workstation and applications
