About The Position

The Charge Processor provides support for the Charge Capture Coordinator. Responsible for the day-to-day charge capture and daily reconciliation of charges for assigned clinical service line and related cost center. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years in the Health care environment in Finance/Coding, OR 3 years in Materials Management, Central Supply or Surgery Technician position

Responsibilities

• Support the Charge Capture Coordinator
• Perform day-to-day charge capture
• Conduct daily reconciliation of charges for assigned clinical service line
• Complete established competencies within designated introductory period
• Perform other related duties as assigned
