About The Position
The position involves answering calls from physician offices, hospitals, and patients while utilizing exemplary customer service skills. The role requires ensuring accurate insurance information in billing fields, reviewing insurance for split billing, creating facility bills for Medicare patients, and ensuring correct coding and billing practices are followed. Additional responsibilities include reviewing patient charts, creating e-bills, and ensuring compliance with PQRS questions. The position may also involve scanning documentation and performing other duties as assigned.
