At Topside Manor, nights aren’t just quieter — they’re more personal. We’re a 45-elder skilled nursing home that truly feels like a home. Our team knows every elder by name, understands their routines, and values the relationships we build with them and their families. We’re looking for a full-time Night Shift Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) who enjoys leading with confidence while keeping things calm, steady, and compassionate during the overnight hours. As our 6p–6a Charge Nurse, you’ll be the clinical lead for the night. You’ll guide the CNAs, pass medications, handle treatments, and keep a close eye on our elders to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. When something changes, you’ll assess, think critically, and take action — whether that means calling a physician, updating a family member, or making sure the morning team has a clear and organized report. Nights at Topside Manor are about teamwork. You won’t just be “the nurse on duty” — you’ll be the steady presence that staff rely on and the reassuring voice families trust. We’re looking for someone who can stay calm in unexpected moments, who leads kindly but confidently, and who believes great nursing care is both skilled and heartfelt. You’ll need an active Kansas RN or LPN license and current CPR certification. Long-term care experience is helpful, but what matters most is strong assessment skills, good judgment, and a genuine desire to care for elders in a respectful, home-like setting. If you enjoy meaningful connections, a smaller team, and a place where your leadership truly makes a difference, Topside Manor might be exactly what you’re looking for. Come spend your nights somewhere that feels less like a facility — and more like family.
