Emergency Department - Charge Nurse PRN Provides supervision of workflow and staff within the Department. Assures the provision of patient care by addressing performance, patient, family and physician issues/concerns as appropriate. Ensures on-going compliance with accrediting agency and State Licensure requirements. Shares knowledge of functions and standards to assist others in planning improvements; communicates information; designs materials and education programs; teaches; coaches and encourages recognition of achievement. Acts as a clinical resource and mentor/preceptor to staff. Operates within budgetary goals as defined by department executive. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
