Our Surgery and Neuro unit at Piedmont Newton offers the following: § Bedside documentation devices in every room § Tele Neuro consults and rounding § Rooms on same floor as Surgery Department Management of patients having or requiring: § Post-surgical management including general surgery and hysterectomies § TIA, Stroke, Seizures and other Neuro diagnoses § General Acute Care Needs Join Piedmont to move your career in the right direction. Requirements

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of a nursing program.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.
