The Black Mountain Treatment Center for Women provides residential chemical dependency treatment for justice‑involved women with substance‑related offenses, including DWI. Participants are referred by the Parole Commission or community courts as a condition of parole or probation, with the requirement that they complete residential treatment prior to returning to their home community. The program’s mission is to support a sustainable lifestyle of recovery by delivering an intensive 28‑ to 90‑day residential treatment experience, developing individualized continuing recovery plans, and offering support for a successful transition back into the community. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Conducting sick calls and assessments Assisting the physician and carrying out orders Planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care Responding to medical emergencies Monitoring for communicable diseases Counseling for compliance with diet, medications, and treatment Responding to inquiries and medical appointments Ordering medications and supplies Performing additional nursing care duties, as required
