About The Position

UC Health is hiring a part-time Charge Nurse for the emergency department for the night shift at West Chester Hospital. The Emergency Department Nurse will support West Chester Hospital’s emergency room (ER) and Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in emergency nursing or critical care.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Charge Nurse.
• Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN).
• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Support the emergency room and Level III Trauma Center at West Chester Hospital.
• Deliver high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs.
• Adhere to established standards of care and hospital policies and procedures.
• Manage a caseload of patients as a Charge Nurse.
