About The Position

The Emergency Department Nurse will support West Chester Hospital’s emergency room (ER) and Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. As a Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will work with your own caseload of patients. Our Emergency Department team strives to create a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in emergency nursing or critical care.
• Ability to work night shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Charge Nurse.
• Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs.
• Follow established standards of care and hospital policies and procedures.
• Manage a caseload of patients as a Charge Nurse.
