The Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse Days position is a 13-week assignment offering a competitive pay rate of $60 per hour. Ideal candidates will possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS/BLS certification, and a minimum of two years of experience in acute care, critical care, ICU, long-term acute care hospitals (LTACH), or other hospital-based settings. Prior leadership experience as a House Supervisor or Charge Nurse is highly preferred. This role involves working under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, and is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The RN will plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
