About The Position

The Charge Nurse LVNLPN at Ridgeview Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing is responsible for providing direct patient care and overseeing the nursing staff. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, as well as administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. The Charge Nurse will monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information, collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, and assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Additionally, the position requires ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
• Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care principles
• Proficiency in case management and medical office procedures
• Experience with vital signs monitoring, cardiac catheterization, sterile processing, and administering injections
• Familiarity with tube feeding, gastric lavage, and coding practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
