Requirements

  • Current RN/LVN License in Texas
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a large team
  • Able to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • An active Texas RN/LVN License and nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, college or university along with a CPR certification
  • A minimum of one year experience in a hospital, long term care facility or other related health care facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hand on care to the resident based on the resident Plan of Care.
  • Administer medications and provide treatment to the resident based on the physician orders.
  • Must be able to identify changes in the resident condition and evaluate the resident care needs.
  • Strong focus assessment skills as well as documentation skills.
  • Must be able to evaluate and participate in the development of the Resident Plan of Care.
  • Monitor the resident overall condition and provide care as required while maintaining compliance with the facility policy and procedures.
