Requirements
- Current RN/LVN License in Texas
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a large team
- Able to work efficiently under time constraints
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- An active Texas RN/LVN License and nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, college or university along with a CPR certification
- A minimum of one year experience in a hospital, long term care facility or other related health care facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide hand on care to the resident based on the resident Plan of Care.
- Administer medications and provide treatment to the resident based on the physician orders.
- Must be able to identify changes in the resident condition and evaluate the resident care needs.
- Strong focus assessment skills as well as documentation skills.
- Must be able to evaluate and participate in the development of the Resident Plan of Care.
- Monitor the resident overall condition and provide care as required while maintaining compliance with the facility policy and procedures.
