Your previous experience in acute care, LTC, or nursing homes adds tremendous value to our nursing team. Every day you will advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential, which aligns with your department's operational goals and objectives. To thrive in this role, you need to be accountable and confident. You're an excellent communicator in 1:1 interactions and in front of groups. It's also important for you to be comfortable holding tough conversations, as you are responsible for the performance of your people and your unit. Demonstrates expected skill set within the scope of service at a competent to expert level. Performs basic skills of all staff reporting to Charge Nurse during shift. Performs responsibilities and duties specific to Charge Nurse role. Shift: 6:30pm - 7am Core Schedule: Week 1 Thu, Fri, Sat; Week 2 Sun, Mon, Tue Student loan repayment program as well as relocation assistance offered!

Requirements

  • Oregon RN License
  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS within 6 months
  • ENPC within 6 months
  • TNCC within 6 months
  • One year of current clinical experience in the ED
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing

Nice To Haves

  • BSN
  • Previous designated Charge Nurse experience in the ED
  • CCRN
  • PCCN
  • CEN
  • Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing (RNC)
