About The Position

75% FTE, 8/12 hour evening/night shifts. Weekend rotation and holiday rotation. This position also includes a shift/weekend differential. You will work at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. Pay : Additional components of compensation may include: Shift Differentials: $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and 4.25/hour weekend as applicable for hours worked. Serve as a front-line leader in a collaborative environment that is surrounded by state-of-the-art technology, evidence-based practice and a strong interdisciplinary team on this inpatient medical surgical unit. Enhance your leadership skills through serving as a mentor for nurses to advance their knowledge and skills, involvement in monitoring of nursing quality metrics, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with management for unit hiring and patient experience rounding. Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing Required
  • 2 years experience in an inpatient unit Required
  • 2 years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years’ experience in an inpatient unit Required
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification Required
  • ACLS within 180 Days Required

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit Preferred
  • Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population Preferred
  • National certification in relevant specialty Preferred
