About The Position

Job Summary:
Accountable on a shift basis for the allocation of resources and quality of patient care delivered in assigned area. Responsible for assessing, formulating plan of care, implementing and evaluating nursing care for assigned patient population. Is a leader and collaborates with the healthcare team to promote a world class environment.

Responsibilities

• Allocates and monitors resources to implement the unit patient care delivery model to achieve world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
• Performs patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes.
• Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.
• Analyzes collected data to formulate and implement a plan of care that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes consistent with world class performance levels.
• Evaluates the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
• Assists with and/or facilitates resolution or management of customer issues/concerns/comments.
• Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
• Apply for nursing council or committee and be vested on one council at least every 5 years. 80% attendance in person or by phone is required. Advancements in Clinical Ladder will be reflected in yearly application process and is expected for job performance standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
