About The Position
The position is responsible for the oversight of patient care for the assigned department/unit. The individual coordinates the clinical care of all patients located on the unit, ensuring cohesive delivery of services, patient satisfaction, and safety. The role includes supervising staff on nursing units in the absence of the Unit Director/Coordinator to assure that nursing standards and quality initiatives are met. Additionally, the position provides feedback to department leadership for performance improvement.
