About The Position

The Charge Audit Specialist's primary responsibility is to review observation
claim to capture all drug administration charges along with billing observation
hours per CMS guidelines. Address billing and coding related
questions/concerns from the Business Office and provide education to physician
and/or department staff of billing edit/errors. Initiate and lead performance
improvement efforts to enhance charge capture and promote revenue integrity.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Junior College Technical School required
• RHIT, CCS, CCS-H, OR CPC required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
