About The Position

CAMP is seeking Costumed Character Performers (Bluey/Bingo Mascot) for a large-scale, family-friendly Immersive Bluey x CAMP collaboration at our Houston CAMP Store. This show will feature scripted dialogue as well as improvised material, while engaging with kids and families in a 5000 sq ft space.

Requirements

• Must be between 5 ft and 5'4".
• Must wear a size XS/S bodysuit underneath the costume.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Ability to work day and evening shifts as well as weekends.
• Must never speak in costume, communicate through body language and gestures.
• Must keep up the animation at all times while in costume.

Responsibilities

• Perform as Bluey/Bingo mascot during scheduled shows.
• Engage with kids and families through scripted and improvised material.
• Contribute to the CAMP experience during low show traffic periods by stepping into performance-inspired Front of House (FOH) roles.
• Greet guests and welcome families warmly at entry.
• Offer showtimes, directions, and invite guests to learn more.
• Lead crafts or slime activities and support drop-in craft stations.
• Play with featured toys and model imaginative play or mini-games.
• Promote the show and encourage day-of ticket purchases.
• Host short, lively storytime readings in character.

Benefits

• Pay rate: $19.00 hourly.
• Show Duration: August 2025 - Jan 2026 (with possibility of extension).
• Flexible schedule ranging from 5 hrs to 30 hrs per week.
