About The Position

The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve. Requirements

• Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 4 units of coursework/training accredited or approved by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) or equivalent.
• National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
