About The Position
St. Paul Elder Services is a Catholic, Franciscan-sponsored living community dedicated to enriching the life experience. Our campus includes a skilled nursing facility, assisted living, CBRF for dementia, adult day programs, hospice and home care services. The Spiritual Care Assistant tends to the spiritual needs of the residents of St. Paul Manor, our Community Based Residential Facility for persons living with dementia. Qualified applicants will be Catholic, be a good listener, and have the ability to distribute communion and to pray with the sick and dying. Duties also will include stations of the cross and bible study. Typical hours would be 10:15am-2pm. Mass is at 11am daily, Lutheran services Wednesdays 9:45a-10:15am. When not helping our residents at Mass/Lutheran services, our new associate will be doing spiritual programming and quarterly visits.
