The Chaplain provides spiritual care and support to patients and families, honoring their individual beliefs and preferences. This role is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, ensuring that spiritual needs are thoughtfully addressed throughout the hospice journey. Schedule: This is a full-time, 30-hour per week position with flexibility in scheduling. The Chaplain may work either three 10-hour days per week or four 7.5-hour days per week, depending on preference. The role requires participation in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings every other Thursday and every other Friday at 7:00 AM. There is an on-call rotation of approximately one full weekend every 6–7 weeks. Weekend call hours include Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. While on-call, the Chaplain is responsible for covering Unity Hospice’s full service area. In addition, this role includes a holiday rotation of approximately one holiday every 1.5 years. Territory: Based in Sturgeon Bay and surrounding area. Covering Northern Door County and Washington Island. Travel throughout the territory is required.
