Position Summary: To serve the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, family members, and staff. Is available in house or on-call to offer spiritual and emotional support. Work Schedule: Hours varied /flexible to meet patient/family, staff and hospital needs. Some weekend, holiday and call time involvement.
Requirements
- Proof of ordination, licensure, or letter of support/endorsement from a local church/denomination/religious order is required
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university accredited as a member of the Council for Higher Education ( www.chea.org )
- None required.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Divinity or equivalent or enrollment in an accredited seminary or graduate program is preferred
- Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) preferred
- One year in healthcare, as Chaplain, preferred
