Under the direction of the Director of Spiritual Care, the Hospital Chaplain provides spiritual care to patients, families and employees fostering spiritual resources for healing. A caregiver in this position will work part-time, about 4 hours per day (between 8:00am and 4:00pm). This can be flexible and vary. No on-call requirements unless otherwise requested. No weekends required.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education Offset: Bachelor's degree, 3 years of ministry experience & satisfactory completion of one (1) or two (2) units of Clinical Pastoral Education with expectation to get four (4) CPEs within two (2) years of hire
• One (1) year of ministry experience required
• Credentialing, certification, or eligibility within two (2) years by a certifying organization or certification as an Association of Clinical Pastor Education (ACPE educator)

• Master's degree of Divinity or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide education and consultation for physicians, nurses, and other clinical employees.
• Conduct spiritual care and counseling for patients, families, and employees.
