About The Position

Works with other members of the Spiritual Services staff to provide spiritual care to patients, visitors and the health care staff of Froedtert Health.

Requirements

• Completion of an undergraduate degree (Bachelor's) from a college, university, or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
• A graduate-level (Master's) theological degree from a college, university or theological school accredited by a member of the CHEA. Certification as a Chaplain by one of the four certifying bodies may be accepted in lieu of graduate-level degree.
• Satisfactory completion of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or its equivalent.
• Certification as a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) in with the Association of Professional Chaplains, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains or Spiritual Care Association within three years of hire.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of chaplaincy experience is preferred.
• A graduate-level (Master's) theological degree from a college, university or theological school accredited by a member of the CHEA is preferred.
• Documentation of current endorsement or of good standing in accordance with the requirements of his/her own faith/spiritual tradition is preferred.
• Ecclesiastical endorsement by a faith group is preferred.
