Applies acquired skills and experience as a spiritual care specialist to respond to the spiritual needs of patients and their families, faculty, staff, allied health students (as appropriate), and other health care team members. Note: The hourly rate of pay is $43.94/hr. We do not offer any benefits for this part-time per diem role. UCSF Health’s Department of Spiritual Care Services provides spiritual and emotional support to adult and pediatric patients, their loved ones, and UCSF faculty, staff, and students at three clinical campuses (Parnassus Heights, Mission Bay, and Mount Zion). Our department is one of the largest in the Western U.S. and has been an integral part of UCSF’s service and teaching mission since the early 1960’s.
