Requirements

• Bachelor's in spiritual care, arts, or equivalent degree from college/university or institution accredited by the applicant’s institutional faith body.
• Technical/Vocational School Completion of Roman Catholic deacon training and ordination.
• Driver's License (DL)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Spiritual Care team to provide pastoral care services to patients and their family members.
• Respond to urgent situations, such as codes or death, at the request or referral of administrative coordinators, nurses, or family members.
• Ensure compassionate support and guidance during critical moments.
• Maintain personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
• Contribute to the emotional and spiritual well-being of patients and families.
• Assess the spiritual needs of patients to assist the healing process as part of a holistic team.
• Provide focused attention to patients, loved ones, and staff without agenda, effectively listening and responding to their needs.
• Convey personalized care to patients, families, and staff, ensuring they feel cared for and supported.
• Enable patients, loved ones, and staff to experience God's nearness, safety, and comfort.
