About The Position

SUMMARY Assists patients, families, and staff in times of physical, emotional, and spiritual distress. Responsible for ministry to the health needs of all patients. Forms community of pastoral care. Provides services and resources as requested by the patient or family.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 0 to 2 years of experience
• AHA BLS
• Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with spiritual and faith-based needs during their hospital stay.
• Provides guidance, recommendations, and resources.
• Ensures religious beliefs are being considered in plan of care.
