Responsible for Assists visiting clergy of all faiths in utilizing the hospital’s facilities for counseling and ministering to the needs of patients and families of their faith. Performs age-specific spiritual assessments of the patient, family and employees regarding healing and support resources. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health system organization policies and procedures. Nice To Haves

  • Certified (or eligible) and/or member of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, Association of Professional Chaplains, or National Association of Jewish Chaplains preferred
  • Four or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education and/or two or more years in pastoral ministry (or equivalent) preferred
