The Chaplain develops and implements programming in the areas of spirituality, reflection, service, and community partnership. Activities include designing and leading public moments of prayer and ritual, retreats, liturgy and worship, ecumenical and interfaith activities; facilitating reflection-on-experience in small and large groups, including in curricular settings and during service immersion experiences both locally and abroad; and providing expert pastoral presence and support for students, staff, and faculty in one-on-one and group settings. Specific program responsibilities include management and development of the Chaplain Mentor Program, Professional Role Development and Jesuit Values program, community-building programming, and facilitation of HSC Ministry programming.
