The Channel Sales Manager at IMI Precision Engineering is a pivotal role responsible for managing all channel sales partners within the entire Texas region. This position requires a deep understanding of technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to drive revenue generation by assisting customers with engineered solutions tailored to their specific needs. The Channel Sales Manager will actively pursue sales opportunities through both telephone and face-to-face presentations, ensuring that they remain informed about new products and services that may interest customers. This role also involves significant participation in marketing, market planning, and the technical development of products and services, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization. In this role, the Channel Sales Manager will oversee multiple agent partners, developing and increasing sales revenue to meet assigned targets. They will be responsible for forecasting sales on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, and will engage in outage management activities, including preventative maintenance planning and customer inventory management. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying and fulfilling additional sales opportunities with existing customers, as well as keeping abreast of market trends and competitive activities to make strategic adjustments that ensure long-term market presence and growth. The work environment is primarily remote, with travel expectations of at least 50% of the time. The physical demands of the job include the ability to drive long hours, walk occasionally, and maintain a seated position for extended periods while using hands and fingers for various tasks. The Channel Sales Manager will also be expected to effectively communicate with top management, clients, and potential customers, presenting information clearly and responding to inquiries as needed.
