The Channel Sales Executive - Video Security & Access Control at Motorola Solutions is a pivotal role that focuses on driving sales initiatives for video solutions within a designated territory. Reporting directly to Avigilon's Regional Sales Director, this position serves as the primary contact for all video solutions selling initiatives with end-users. The Channel Sales Executive is responsible for proactively managing relationships with customers, deploying effective sales actions and strategies to grow the business, and achieving territory revenue goals. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to align those needs with the company's product offerings, which include advanced video analytics, network video management software, and access control solutions. In this role, the Channel Sales Executive will develop new business opportunities, particularly emphasizing new account development. They will promote and market Avigilon's products and services within the assigned territory and named accounts, ensuring that they identify diverse customer needs and understand how the product portfolio can satisfy these needs. Building strong relationships and customer knowledge is essential, as is leading the development of video, analytics, and access control solutions that best address end-user requirements. The Channel Sales Executive will also collaborate with vertical marketing teams to identify engagement opportunities through various channels, including associations, conferences, and tradeshows. Daily prospecting using all available tools is crucial for success in this position, along with maintaining accurate CRM data for new and existing account development. This includes creating new opportunities and advancing and closing existing ones to drive revenue growth. The role demands a self-motivated problem solver with strong technical acumen, capable of articulating the benefits of the company's solutions to customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, along with effective time management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
