About AI Security at Cato Networks Cato’s AI Security capabilities extend the Cato SASE platform into the AI and SaaS layers, enabling enterprises to securely adopt and govern AI-powered applications and services. AI Security provides real-time visibility, control, and protection across AI-driven SaaS platforms by addressing modern threats such as identity abuse, data leakage, misconfigurations, insider risk, and unauthorized AI usage. By integrating AI Security natively into the Cato SASE Cloud, Cato delivers a unified platform that protects users, networks, SaaS applications, and AI services from a single, globally distributed security architecture. Role Overview We are looking for a Channel Sales Engineer to serve as a strong technical resource for Cato Networks’ Channel organization, acting as an overlay specialist focused on AI Security. In this role, you will actively drive and manage the technical evaluation process with channel partners, working closely with the Cato Channel team as the primary technical advisor and product advocate for Cato’s AI Security solutions. The evaluation process includes deep technical discussions, product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (PoC) execution, and partner enablement and training. You will engage with both technical and business stakeholders and play a critical role in ensuring partner success throughout the entire channel lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or technical pre-sales professional
  • Experience selling or supporting Cybersecurity SaaS solutions, preferably in enterprise or channel-driven environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong technical foundation with experience in several of the following areas: SaaS platforms and APIs
  • AI / Machine Learning concepts and risks
  • REST APIs and integrations
  • SSO, IAM, and identity-based security
  • SIEM and security analytics
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Kubernetes and modern cloud architectures
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable problem-solver
  • Startup experience preferred; comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with limited formal processes

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical validation of Cato’s AI Security solutions to prospects and partners
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Present solutions to customers and at field events such as conferences and seminars
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to channel partners during evaluations and deployments
  • Communicate feedback, feature requests, and technical insights to Product Management
  • Stay current on AI security trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings
  • Travel throughout assigned sales territory as required
