This position is responsible for driving strategic growth in the Hardware and industrial channels through marketing programs, promotional development, and execution. This includes assisting in developing and executing marketing plans, implementing promotional plans, and supporting new product launches with sales and other marketing disciplines. This Channel role is responsible for devising, launching, creating, and maintaining Makita marketing programs and promotions for Dealers, Wholesalers, and all other customers to grow Makita's product sales within the US. Other responsibilities include creating and developing marketing resources (product displays, digital applications, etc.) to channel customers and sales representatives. This also includes managing tactical execution elements associated with channel management, including communications, marketing program support, and budget /expense management.
