About The Position

As our Channel Marketing Intern, you will support the marketing team by assisting with the creation of social media posts, reviewing performance analytics, and proofreading and editing marketing content. You will contribute to experiential and event engagement initiatives, including sponsorships and events such as the 3M Open, Foundation Scholarship Program, MN Aurora, and new branch openings, while also providing branch support for marketing requests and scorecard tracking. Further responsibilities include assisting with press release writing, researching relevant content topics and providing recommendations, monitoring public relations and media coverage, and tracking TruStone-branded marketing inventory. And, as part of the internship, you’ll get to complete at least one key project to enhance your learning experience and highlight your resume.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 40 hours/week throughout the duration of the internship (10 weeks, from June 1 – August 7, 2026). The schedule will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm with some evenings and weekends, and this position will be based out of our Plymouth Corporate Office.
  • Third- or fourth-year college student in active pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Communications or related, and a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above.
  • Availability to work full-time throughout the duration of the internship (10 weeks, from June 1 – August 7, 2026).
  • Engagement-ready attitude to both collaborate internally and interact with fans.
  • Software experience with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changes in workload.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Availability to work some evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift up-to/around 50 pounds (e.g. boxes for events).
  • A reliable vehicle/transportation for local travel.
  • Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
  • Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Design experience with Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator is a plus.
