About The Position

AssetMark is seeking a dynamic Channel Manager to lead the growth and evolution of our Rep as Portfolio Manager platform, Advisor Managed Portfolios (AMP). This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, advisor relationships, and commercial execution — making it ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems through collaboration and technology. You'll serve as a key internal voice for the Advisor Managed Portfolios, partnering across Sales, Technology, Operations, and Compliance to shape the AMP roadmap and drive meaningful outcomes for advisors, broker-dealer partners, and their clients. This role is hybrid and open to candidates near Concord, CA | Charlotte, NC | Chicago, IL | Atlanta, GA | Phoenix, AZ

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, with hands-on experience with advisor-facing trading tools and/or investment management; demonstrated track record of driving commercial outcomes through product management or channel partnerships
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, including ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income, and equities
  • Deep understanding of separately managed accounts (SMAs) and UMA structures in the context of portfolio management
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills — comfortable working with both quantitative data and qualitative feedback to drive decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present recommendations clearly to audiences ranging from advisors to senior executives
  • Ability to build credibility quickly with sales teams, advisors, and external partners
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
